Description

Dale's Heart - 12x12" PrintArtwork by Don Henderson. After recreating Eileen's Heart (my mom's) in vector, I thought it would be cool to do a couple more, this is the next Celtic Heart in the series. This design was originally created in the 1980s when I was a young graphic designer at Sun Art. Back then, I was doing a lot of pen & ink work, no computers, this was all done by hand using a variety of old school analog tools, pencils, speed bow compass, ruling pens and Koh I Noor

After recreating Eileen's Heart (my mom's) in vector, I thought it would be cool to do a couple more, this is the next Celtic Heart in the series. This design was originally created in the 1980s when I was a young graphic designer at Sun Art. Back then, I was doing a lot of pen & ink work, no computers, this was all done by hand using a variety of old school analog tools, pencils, speed bow compass, ruling pens and Koh-I-Noor Rapidograph Pens. I was doing illustrations mostly in a style that incorporated Art Deco, Art Nouveau as well as 1960s Pop Art poster art.

One day, my creative director, Dale McWilliams came back from lunch telling me I had to get this book he saw at A&B Smith Art Supply store. The book was Celtic Art, The Methods of Construction By George Bain. Dale was one of the most important mentors in my creative life, he was all about good design and he imparted on me his design philosophy as well as encouraging me to take a deep dive into our shared Celtic heritage and culture. Dale was always turning me on to new Celtic music and art. My whole Celtic Art catalog is because of the spark that Dale McWilliams lit back in the 1980s. Sadly Dale passed away from a brain tumor in 2006, leaving us way too soon. My life and art was so enriched by this incredible designer, mentor, teacher & friend. This Celtic Heart design is dedicated to Dale WcWilliams.

Printed from an Epson Expression XP-15000 printer using Claria Hi-Definition Ink, centered on a 13x19" sheet of matte finish, ultra premium mat photo paper.

Mailed in flat, rigid envelopes to prevent damage or curling, and are ready to frame.

* Watermark will not appear on physical print.

My dog’s favorite soft toy!
Style: Plush Surprise Color, Size: 12", Style: Plush Surprise Color, Size: 12"
My dog loves these toys! We will get a replacement for him every couple months or so because these are his favorite. The squeaker is his arch nemesis and it’s always his main priority to get that first. The material is very soft so he likes to lightly chew on it when he gets anxious or excited, only negative is that it does tear easy but there’s not a lot of stuffing so it’s not a big mess to clean. Definitely recommend to puppies and dogs that don’t annihilated their toys.

Puppy and price approved!
Style: Latex Surpise Color, Size: 6"
Great cheap little dog toys! Our 11 month large breed 90lb puppy loves to toss these around and squeak them between his teeth.. they eventually break down but that’s okay, at the low price of a couple to a few dollars each they make it affordable. They put some stuffing inside so it makes it slippery when our pup is nibbling on it. Funny enough these last longer than much more expensive toys that claim more durability! In 8 months we’ve gone through 2. That’s pretty good! Not chew resistant, but the latex offers a texture and squeak that I find makes our puppy go easier on them. Cute and easily packable.

My two Labradors make quick work of these. They love them. But Not very durable. Stuffing everywhere.

Our dog loves them
Style: Latex Surpise Color, Size: 6"
Not for every type of dog, but our dog LOVES these things. Try one and see how it goes. They are cheap, so no great loss if your dog doesn't like it, But if it does, you'll have a great time with them. Best $3 I could spend

Tie a Knot in it if it rips
Style: Plush Surprise Color, Size: 6", Style: Plush Surprise Color, Size: 6"
My puppy split the middle belly seam in about 5 minutes of spirited play with the white foam and squeak assembly scattered about, but he loves these loofa toys - goes nuts for them. Went through a couple of the little $3 ones so I tried this big one which he ripped apart. But I tied a knot in the middle of it over the ripped part and guess what, it's better than before. He loves the whipping the big knot around. The part where it ripped was where they filled it I think but the rest of the stitching is really quite solid. Takes a beating, to a point. The little ones lasted a reasonable time before they were totally played.
