The Sonance Sonamp 12-50 is a Class D Digital Amplifier. Sonance, the inventor of the distributed audio amplifier category, introduces the next generation of cutting-edge amplifier technology. Once again pushing the envelope with class-leading performance, rock-solid stability, and ease of installation, the Sonamp Digital Amplifier line appeals to the most discerning ear. With enough flexiblity to meet the demands of custom installations of all types & the perfect complement to the rest of the Sonance speaker line. The Sonamp Digital Amplifiers build on the legacy of innovation, performance and reliability that Sonance amplifiers are known for.

The compact form factor allows for space savings in the equipment rack with ample power to the speakers. A convection-cooled, fanless design allows for direct stacking with no air gap for even greater power density. Bridgeable channels for applications when even more power is required. Class-D design is 93% efficient for maximum power output with minimal power usage. The full array of input/output connectivity for maximum installation flexibility: line inputs, loop outputs, audio & voltage triggers, (2) Buss input/output, independent volume control per channel.

I love the message and my kids (3 and 5) find it credible and engaging, so it's a win all around. I find the illustrations (which are either done by a 5 year old or an adult as talented an artist as I am) painful but I give the text 6 out of 5 stars so when I take a star off for the over-the-top illustrations we're still at 5/5 ;) Kids who have greater access to exclusively modern media with intense graphics may not be able to relate to the material: the graphics are a big hurdle and the text is pretty dated too. I'm sure an updated version would be even more engaging for my kids but what it lacks in exciting, current graphics it makes up for in specificity and clarity for my two.
