BD Vacutainer® Heparin tubes for plasma analysis.
Available with spray-dried sodium heparin (SH), lithium heparin (LH) additives or with lithium heparin and separating gel (LH/Gel).
Heparin acts as an anticoagulant. During the centrifugation of the Lithium Heparin/gel tubes, the gel separates the plasma and the cells preventing the contamination of the plasma from the separated cellular components.
