The folding knife has been a trusted everyday companion for centuries, valued because it tucks a real working blade safely into the pocket. From the earliest folding designs carried by tradesmen and travelers to the classic pocket knives passed down through families, the form earned its place through pure usefulness. Its enduring appeal lies in combining genuine cutting power with safe, compact carry.

As craftsmanship advanced, makers began forging folding blades from Damascus steel and pairing them with stabilized pakka wood in vibrant colors. The combination unites old-world pattern-welding with modern everyday-carry function and standout style. This handmade Damascus folder carries that tradition forward a pocket-friendly blade that's as eye-catching as it is capable.

Introduction

This Handmade Damascus Steel Folding Knife is built to be carried, used, and admired every single day. Its 3.5-inch Damascus drop point blade opens to a comfortable 7 inches, folding neatly back into a bold pink pakka wood handle for safe pocket carry. The flowing layered pattern and vivid handle color make it a true standout, in the pocket or on display.

A smooth pivot and secure lockup give confident, reliable deployment for everyday tasks. It belongs to our liner lock folding knives collection, where each knife is hand-forged and individually finished so no two are exactly alike. For more color options, the Damascus Pakka Wood Folder makes a great companion.

Blade

The 3.5-inch blade is forged from genuine pattern-welded Damascus steel, its flowing layered pattern a structural result of folding and forging the steel rather than a surface etching. The versatile drop point profile keeps the tip controlled and strong with a useful belly for slicing the ideal all-around EDC shape. Damascus construction delivers excellent edge retention and a fine, sharp edge that holds well through daily use.

Handle

The handle is crafted from durable pink pakka wood a stabilized composite prized for its toughness, moisture resistance, and rich, vibrant color. It offers a secure, comfortable grip and a bold, distinctive look that sets it apart from plain factory folders. Built around a sturdy frame with a secure lock and smooth pivot, the handle keeps the blade safely closed for carry and firmly locked when in use.

Uses

This Damascus folder is a true everyday workhorse, ideal for EDC cutting tasks, opening packages, slicing, light food prep, and general utility around the home, office, trail, or workbench. Its compact size makes it easy to carry anywhere, while the Damascus blade and vivid pink handle also make it a handsome collector's piece and a memorable gift for knife enthusiasts and everyday carriers.

Care Instructions

Damascus steel rewards simple, regular care. Wipe and dry the blade after use, never put it in a dishwasher. Apply a light coat of food-safe mineral oil to the blade and a drop to the pivot every few weeks to keep the action smooth and protect against rust. Keep the handle and pivot free of grit, store the knife in a dry place, and sharpen on a whetstone as needed to maintain a keen edge.

FAQs

What are the blade and open lengths of this Pakka wood Damascus folder?

This folder features a 3.5-inch Damascus drop point blade that opens to about 7 inches overall, folding back to roughly 3.5–3.75 inches closed. The pocket-friendly size handles everyday cutting tasks with ease while staying compact and comfortable to carry anywhere.

Is the pink Pakka wood handle durable enough for everyday pocket carry?

Yes. Pakka wood is a stabilized composite valued for its toughness, moisture resistance, and rich color, standing up well to daily use. Built around a sturdy frame with a secure lock and smooth pivot, the handle gives a comfortable, secure grip and keeps the blade safely closed for carry.

Is the Damascus blade on this folding knife genuine pattern-welded steel?

Yes. The blade is forged from genuine pattern-welded Damascus steel, where the flowing layered pattern is a structural result of folding and forging the steel, not a surface etching. This gives the blade excellent edge retention and a fine, sharp edge well-suited to daily everyday carry use.

What kind of lock mechanism does this handmade Damascus folding knife use?

This folder uses a secure folding lock that holds the blade firmly open during use and keeps it safely closed for carry. Depending on the model, that's typically a liner lock for smooth one-handed use or a lock back for extra-secure lockup.

How do I care for the Damascus blade and pivot to keep it rust-free over time?

Wipe and dry the blade after use, then apply a light coat of food-safe mineral oil to the blade and a drop to the pivot every few weeks. Keep the pivot free of grit and store the knife in a dry place. This keeps the action smooth and protects the Damascus steel from rust over time.

Pretty Darn Good
Format: Kindle
So I’ve been on a omega kick and this definitely hit the spot. Madison was frustrating at times with how she acted towards Lucas, Gray, and Rian. It was like she said towards the end, she didn’t believe she deserved nice things. It would have been nice to hear from her best friends again. They kind of were there in the beginning and the gone except for mention of text messages received from them. I feel like her friends would have been great help in encouraging Madison to go with the pack and never give Brent another chance because he was toxic. I loved Rian. His personality was awesome. His humor. His ability to make Madison comfortable whenever she was feeling overwhelmed. And the fact he fell for her and she fell for him first. They are cute together. I do feel like Lucas was the odd man out though. Like Lucas didn’t develop as much of a relationship with Madison. I would have really liked to see more development in the relationship between them. It was also the same with him and Rian. There is really no relationship displayed. Most of the relationship being displayed is between Rian and Gray. Nevertheless, I loved reading about the dynamic that came to fruition during the entirety of this story. Madison finally got her happiness. And Brent finally got punched in the face. Everyone got exactly what they deserve.

Pack's Promise was okay but not great
Format: Kindle
Pack's Promise was okay but not great. I won't recommend it to anyone that I know. PRO: * Very likable characters * Lots of steamy scenes that are written very well * The spelling and grammar are good * The punctuation is good with the exception of using hyphens instead of commas. Lots of hyphens. Lots and lots of hyphens. CON: * Almost no interactions with any characters outside of Madison and the pack * Nearly no plot. They meet, get together for a heat, agree to make it permanent, done * Quite a few typos such as extraneous words, missing words and words out of order THINGS TO KNOW: * More steamy scenes than storytelling * A lot of MM & MMM, some MFMM during heat

Fluffy and Nice Omegaverse
Format: Kindle
… this would have made 5 stars but for 2 reasons. A.) there were quite a few typos; misspelled words, missing quotations, “the his” mistakes, and various signs that maybe a proofread would do good. B.) the writing was quite textbook. Late blooming omega is struggling with her new self, finds a absurdly wealthy pack of alphas, every thing is almost insta-love but she resists, then decides to love herself and let everyone be happy. Rian was my favourite (obviously the author’s favourite too because he got the most page time) but I wish we could see more of his CEO side? He went to work maybe ONCE the entire time. Gray was supposed to be the “growly one” but he turned out to be puppy dog. Lucas was a genius brainiac doctor - but also super alpha with an aggressive hindbrain with a breeding k*nk?? And then there was no actual “breeding”?? Spice 3/5 - normally omegaverse books are super high on messy smut but this was tamer. Romance 3/5 - insta-love that was then resisted because of personal hangup’s Plot 2/5 - weird paced head hopping, showing the same scene from different POV’s that made me feel like it was 2 steps backward, 1 step forward. Humour 4/5 - there were a dozen lines that genuinely made me chuckle out loud Would have been five stars but the lack of proofreading and the predictable plot made me unable to get up to ADORED IT level - four stars is still and official ENJOYED IT, y’all. This isn’t a bad rating. The “Club Heat” has intriguing possibilities so I’m going to give the second one a shot.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5
