Through the review of case studies and group participation, we will touch upon how to breakdown what you are seeing in your dog's searches, how to develop a solution when a problem is identified, and ways to become as effective as possible using out-of-the box thinking.

You will learn from Judith Guthrie who selects, trains and places dogs to work out in the professional detection dog field. What sets Judith apart is that she is equally involved in the sport of Scent Work, being an approved trial official with several Scent Work competition organizations. This grants her the ability to pull upon approaches that have proven effective with her working professional dogs but would equally benefit our civilian dogs who are playing the Scent Work game.
