The E-MU Proteus Orchestra, model 9098, is a rackmount sound module introduced in 2000, primarily for the Japanese market, and is functionally identical to the Virtuoso 2000. It comes pre-installed with the Orchestral Sessions Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 expansion ROMs, providing a comprehensive 64MB library of high-quality orchestral sounds. The module offers 128-voice polyphony and 32-part multitimbrality, allowing for complex arrangements across multiple MIDI channels. It includes 1,024 presets (512 user and 512 factory), featuring 321 distinct instruments, and supports up to four additional SIMM sockets for further sound expansion. Equipped with 50 Z-Plane filters and 76 built-in effects, the Proteus Orchestra enables extensive sound shaping and customisation. Connectivity options comprise six audio outputs, S/PDIF digital output, and standard MIDI In, Out, and Thru ports, facilitating integration into various studio setups.

Condition:

  • This E-mu has been used.

  • This E-mu has been tested. Everything is working as it should and it sounds great!

  • The cosmetic condition of this unit is great. It shows a small amount of wear from use and age like some nicks, marks and scratches. There is nothing major at all. Please see photos.

  • This unit features two 32MB sound ROMs, Orchestral Sessions 1 and Orchestral Sessions 2. It has two more spots for E-MU ROM expansions. 

  • This unit is 100-240V. This means it is worldwide compatible. This unit requires a standard IEC cable to power on. This cable is not included.

I’m a real human and person (sad I have to say that) who bought these stupid balls for my dog because tennis balls are EXPENSIVE. She chewed on them only a few times and the balls split in half into two hemispheres right away. Plus, she could rip the felt off the entire ball in less than an hour. Absolutely terrible and I truly threw money away because I threw away the original packaging and so I can’t get my money back! Very disappointing and sad :-(. Turns out that Play Again sports sells used tennis balls for $0.35 each. Sorry, Amazon. I’m getting my tennis balls from them from now on 😠

I just opened these balls up and what a waste of money. They don't bounce at all. They are made not like how normal tennis balls are. They are filled with so much air on the inside to where they bust really easy. They also have so much glue on them and that even comes off really easy. I paid $ 25 and some change and what a waste. The first ball only lasted a few seconds it's already shredded and busted. I do have a dog with a strong mouth and that is why I picked these balls they seemed they were made to last. I have an Old English Bulldogge and the ball lasted only seconds. Threw the ball out to her she put it in her mouth and Poof not a ball anymore.DO NOT BUY AT ALL!!!
