It’s low-maintenance and well-suited to both new and experienced plant parents.
Light: Hoya ‘Rosita’ thrives in bright, indirect light and will reward you with more vibrant foliage and potential blooms. It can tolerate medium light, but too little light may prevent the plant from developing its signature reddish tones. Avoid harsh, direct sun, which can scorch the leaves.
Water: Like most Hoyas, Rosita prefers to dry out between waterings. Water thoroughly when the top half of the soil feels dry. In lower light or cooler months, reduce watering frequency. The semi-succulent leaves help it store moisture, making it more forgiving if you forget to water now and then.
