The late 2003-2007 Ford F-Series Superduty trucks with the 6.0L Powerstroke diesel are workhorses, but the charge air system has some well known weak spots. This mandrel-bent 6061 aluminum cold side pipe is the perfect fix, replacing brittle factory plastic and even offering an upgrade for early model steel pipes by improving airflow and reducing weight.

Stock intercooler boots on the 6.0L Powerstroke only have two layers of polyester reinforcement, making them vulnerable to high boost and oil vapors. The HPS 4-ply aramid-reinforced fluoro-lined silicone boots are built to handle it all, resisting oil breakdown and standing strong under 500°F temperatures and extreme boost pressure.
