Whey protein with digestive enzymes and extra vitamins and minerals for easy daily use.

Protizyme from Metabolic Nutrition is like your everyday whey protein kicked up a notch. It's built on a whey isolate and concentrate base, then adds digestive help, a special glutamine form, and a bunch of vitamins and minerals. This isn't a bare-bones protein. It's all about making it easy to use—solid protein hit, better digestion, and extras that make your shake more well-rounded.

At the heart is the whey blend. From what we know, it delivers about 24–26 grams of protein per scoop, which is spot on for sparking muscle repair after a meal or workout. The whey keeps those natural goodies like beta-lactoglobulin, alpha-lactalbumin, immunoglobulins, bovine serum albumin, and lactoferrin. Basically, it's fast-digesting protein with the good stuff whey is known for, not just cheap filler.

Then there's T.A.G., which is trans-alanyl-glutamine—a bonded form of glutamine that's stable and useful for recovery formulas. You'll notice better recovery after tough sessions and maybe less gut hassle, especially with the enzymes. Those enzymes cover a lot: amylase for carbs, protease for protein, cellulase for fiber, lactase for lactose, lipase for fats, betaine, pepsin, and papain. In real life, that means less bloating or heaviness, so you stick with it instead of ditching protein shakes.

Key Highlights

  • About 24–26 grams of whey protein per scoop—that's the right amount to really help with muscle building after a workout or meal. It's a legit dose, not some weak snack.
  • Mix of whey isolate and concentrate—gives you quick aminos plus the full benefits of whey. Feels like solid recovery without skimping on quality.
  • Spotlights those bioactive parts of whey—like beta-lactoglobulin, alpha-lactalbumin, immunoglobulins, bovine serum albumin, and lactoferrin. Makes it more than just a protein count; it's the real deal.
  • Includes T.A.G. (trans-alanyl-glutamine)—a smart glutamine form for recovery. Adds that extra edge for after your lifts, better than basic whey.
  • Full lineup of digestive enzymes—amylase, protease, cellulase, lactase, lipase, betaine, pepsin, and papain. Helps your shake digest smooth, no gut drama day after day.
  • Lactase in the mix—great if whey sometimes bugs your stomach due to lactose. Doesn't make it dairy-free, but makes it easier to handle regularly.
  • 76 mg of potassium per serving—a decent electrolyte boost for training. Teams up with magnesium to keep muscles and nerves working right.
  • Loaded with 24 vitamins and minerals—turns your shake into more than just protein. Smart way to get basics covered in something you're already drinking daily.

Who Is This For?

  • Lifters building muscle who want reliable protein post-lift or between eats, no gut issues. Whey mix delivers quick aminos, enzymes make daily use easy.
  • Busy folks training around work, skipping real meals. Gives quick 24–26g protein, plus vitamins/minerals for more bang than basic whey.
  • People who like whey but hate the feel. Lactase, protease, lipase, betaine, pepsin, papain help smooth digestion for everyday shakes.
  • Strength fans wanting one powder for recovery and basics. Not full diet replace, but smart for adding nutrition to your shake.
  • Calorie-watchers needing high protein without big meals. Useful when hungry but time's short—supports muscle keep and recovery.
  • Stackers with creatine/pre/intra who want simple, functional protein. Focuses on quality, digestion, daily ease in a solid stack.

How to Use

Mix 1 scoop in 8–12 oz cold water for a light shake, or more if you like it thinner. Shaker's best—blends whey and stuff evenly, better than stirring. Post-workout's prime, but good between meals or with breakfast too. Drink within an hour after training for ease; consistency beats perfect timing.

If dairy shakes bug you, try half scoop first—the enzymes help digestion. Water's lighter than milk. Stacks well with creatine, fish oil, real food. No cycling needed—it's daily nutrition. Keep it cool, dry, lid tight for fresh taste and easy scooping.

What to Expect

First 0–10 minutes: taste and mix hit you, feels light or creamy based on water. No stim buzz, just easy on the gut. 10–30 minutes: enzymes kick in quietly, less heaviness than usual whey. Next 1–2 hours: protein fits your day smooth, digests well post-lift. Days 1–7: consistency shines—steady protein, fewer skips. Weeks 2–4: builds better recovery, hits protein goals, smooths your training flow.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much protein does Metabolic Nutrition Protizyme provide per serving?

Available product context places Protizyme at roughly 24–26 grams of protein per scoop, depending on the serving data source and possibly flavor or lot variation. The important takeaway is that each serving delivers a legitimate full protein feeding, not a token amount.

What kind of protein is used in Protizyme?

Protizyme uses a whey protein isolate and whey protein concentrate blend. That gives you fast-digesting amino acid delivery with a fuller range of whey fractions than many bare-bones commodity proteins.

Does Protizyme contain digestive enzymes?

Yes. The formula includes a broad enzyme complex with amylase, protease, cellulase, lactase, lipase, betaine, pepsin, and papain, which is designed to improve digestion and make daily whey use easier on the stomach.

Is Protizyme a good post-workout protein?

Yes. The whey base makes it an effective post-workout option because whey delivers essential amino acids quickly, and the enzyme system improves practicality when you want a shake that goes down smoothly after hard training.

Does this product include vitamins and minerals?

Yes. Protizyme includes a broad vitamin and mineral blend with nutrients like vitamin A, C, D, E, B-vitamins, calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, selenium, iodine, and potassium. However, not every exact dose is fully verified in the available data, so the micronutrient blend should be seen as supportive rather than the main reason to buy.

Is Protizyme fully transparent with every ingredient dose?

Not completely. The protein amount is reasonably clear from market context, and potassium is listed at 76 mg, but the exact doses for several other added components—especially the full vitamin-mineral blend, enzymes, and T.A.G.—are not fully verified in the provided label extraction.

Can I stack Protizyme with creatine?

Absolutely. Creatine monohydrate is one of the best pairings because Protizyme covers protein delivery and recovery nutrition while creatine supports phosphocreatine replenishment, strength output, and training volume.

Is this protein okay if whey usually bothers my stomach?

Protizyme is a better candidate than many basic whey products because it includes lactase and multiple digestive enzymes. It still contains dairy, so it is not appropriate for a milk allergy, but many users who simply struggle with whey tolerance may find it easier to use.

Does Protizyme contain allergens besides milk?

Yes. The ingredient list includes roasted reduced-fat peanut flour, so peanut-sensitive users should avoid it. That is a significant consideration, not a minor footnote.

When should I take Protizyme?

Post-workout is the most obvious use, but it also works well between meals or with breakfast when whole-food protein is low. Because it is not a stimulant formula, timing is flexible—the real key is using it consistently enough to help you hit your daily protein target.

Genuinely bummed that these great balls can’t stand up against my Chloè.
Size: Medium
I love all the Chuckit brand of balls. I found that the Strabo and glow balls in the Chuckit line are the softest, and as such, don't last as long as the rest of Chuckit line of balls. Having said that, they do last longer than than every other brand I've tried (and I do believe I’ve tried every brand available on the market today.) The strato balls do bounce higher than any of the other balls in the Chuckit line. They really are a good value.

Great dog balls at a great price
Size: Medium
The balls are a favorite for my dog. I could have done without the hole through the middle because I don't do treats in balls anyway. My dog loves balls for their own merit. I needed replacement balls for my Nerf Dog Ball launcher. It seems the originals have disappeared from the market. I took a chance because the price is right and this Chuck-it ball works very well so we're liking this ball a lot. So far my Dachsund, who can destroy a tennis ball (the kind they are selling as Nerf Dog replacements) in 3 minutes has not done any damage to this one so that's a win. I recommend this as a much better ball than the fuzzy tennis balls. I like the colors too since many dog toys are green (which gets lost in the lawn, etc.) or red (even though dogs have red/green color blindness. Blue and orange are good and pretty easy to find. I liked these well enough that this set was my second purchase so I will have spares in case the others are lost.

My Baby loves his new baby!
Size: Medium, Size: Medium
Finally! A ball my 107 lb. pitty/pointer mix can’t destroy. He has torn up every single “indestructible” toy in a day or so until now. He peels fabric and fur off non-rubber toys. He is a 4-legged shredder. I’ve added pictures of him for a size reference of my dog versus this product. I know I had wanted that when shopping for this item. This ball is now his beloved “baby.” He goes absolutely insane looking for it, chewing it, chasing it, and even sleeping with it. He won’t rest unless he knows exactly where it is. It is his only toy, and he is good with that. After getting this home, I tried giving him other choices, but he won’t touch them. I was worried that he would rip it apart by putting his teeth in the holes, but so far, not a scratch. It is soft enough to collapse just enough to keep it from cracking when his jaws crush it but not so soft that he can rip it to sheds. The holes are large enough to prevent a suction or vacuum effect on his tongue or mouth. For his size jaws, it is a perfect fit. Other dogs might have problems with suction or be able to get their teeth in those holes and rip it apart. Who knows? The older version of the Chuckit squeaky ball was his favorite for the year and a half he had it, but the way they make them now, he peels off the orange triangle in hours flat, the squeaker falls out (choking hazard), and then he rips it apart. I’m going to stock up on these. I can’t imagine how crazy he will be if they ever stop production or change the materials.

Great durable ball
One of my dog’s favorite toy. We have had this ball for almost a year and it is still intact. My Doberman loves it and has not been able to destroy it. The size is comparable to s tenis ball. It has a little weight to it witch makes it easy to trow further.

Best toy I’ve ever gotten for my dog
The toy allows you to interact with your dog in a way that I didn’t realize was so important until I adopted a dog who was ball obsessed and a bit disconnected. We have bonded so much over this toy and it has held up so much better than 95% of the toys I’ve gotten, which have all been labeled as high-quality or durable. It is perfect for playing fetch and for tugging, as well as training. The only thing worth noting is that the rope is thin enough that it can be uncomfortable to tug with a large or strong dog. I usually wrap a leash around my hip and hook it to the rope when we are doing intense tugging (because my 75 pound dog would win otherwise). If you do go for a tug toy that has a more comfortable handle, it will not bounce and be easy for a dog to run around with in the same way. This rope makes the weight heavily in favor of the ball, so it acts more like a ball and the dog is more inclined to grab the ball. I think this toy finds right balance of ball to rope.
