К сожалению, этого не скажешь о том образе, который доносит история в искаженных, почти что карикатурных описаниях Императора и его времени.
Известнейший историк А.Н.Боханов первым взял на себя смелость восстановить историческую правду о личности и царствовании Николая Павловича, чье правление пришлось на самые сложные для России годы XIX века.

Half century has passed since the death of Nicholas I, but to this day at St. Isaac's Square in St. Petersburg stands equestrian statue of the Russian autocrat. Hand vandal did not dare to touch him even during the riot of red terror and state Russo phobia. Unfortunately, this can not be said about the image that conveys the history of the distorted, almost caricatured descriptions of the Emperor and his time.
The famous historian AN Bohanov first took it upon myself to restore the historical truth about the person and the reign of Nicholas, whose rule had the most difficult for Russia of the XIX century.
