German WWII Kriegsmarine 2nd Model Dagger by WKC-This is the 2^nd model navy transitional dagger (being an update from a n Imperial example) with the maiden hair Damascus blade. This has bright solid brass fittings throughout. The pommel is a thing of beauty with great details to the eagle and its subdued swastika within the wreath. There are also fine details to the brass hilt and lower crossguard which is quite distinctive with the Imperial style capstans. The red felt buffer is still in place under the crossguard. The locking mechanism on this crossguard works as intended. The white bone grip with twisted brass wire wrap is in very good condition. There is some slight crazing, but no cracking. This is complete with the hammered lightning bolt scabbard which is devoid of the usual dents. The finish is 90% intact on the scabbard, but it has lightened in some areas. This beauty has a gorgeous blade that is in beautiful condition and is the maiden hair Damascus. The WKC knights’ head logo can be seen on the reverse of the blade. This gem is complete with a properly tied silver bullion knot. This should not be overlooked. US SALES ONLY
