HOW IT WORKS

HSN-W® contains herbs traditionally used to support hair, skin and nails and contains botanicals with many antioxidant benefits.

WHY OUR FORMULA?

Looking good depends on more than skin care and hair products. It starts on the inside with good nutrition. And key nutrients found in horsetail, dulse, rosemary and sage offer traditional beauty support for hair, skin and nails (HSN). For more than two decades, HSN-W® has proven to be a winner for those wanting natural beauty benefits.
Our wildcrafted horsetail is grown in the black soil of Bulgaria on small individual and communal farms. Local workers earn a fair living by harvesting it. And pesticide-free wild-crafting allows for maximum sustainability.

THE STORY BEHIND HSN-W® (HAIR, SKIN & NAILS)

Components of this botanical beauty blend have been cherished for ages. The Romans valued horsetail for its healthful properties. And in the 1700s, people used its plant stems to scour their pots. Hence the nickname scouring rush. Northern Europeans were dining on dulse as far back as 600 A.D. Historically, this herb was used for its tonic effects and solicited for the treatment of both scurvy and constipation.
Anciently, the Romans, Greeks and Egyptians considered rosemary a sacred herb. And Greek students wore it when taking exams to help them remember. In the Middle Ages, people wore a rosemary sprig to weddings to bring love and luck to the bride and groom. Sage has been used by some Native American groups as part of their spiritual ceremonies. And today, smudging a room (spreading sage smoke throughout) is believed to help drive out negative energy and promote healing. Only more recently have these botanicals been prized for their beauty benefits.

Truly indestructible!
My 80lb English bulldog, that literally can chew his way through a tree trunk if left to his own devices, has not been able to destroy this toy. Rather, he’s enjoyed chomping on it bc of the scent and heavy weight for more than a year. Good value and will hopefully last many more years.

Nice toy
Flavor Name: Peanut Butter, Size: Large
I bought this toy in L size for my Frenchie cuz he is a hard chewer, and it ended up being too big for him. He seemed to love it though. I’ll reorder a smaller size

The warnings on the box say it's dangerous, the product page said it was safe.
Besides being much smaller than expected, this is from the box: + It's important to select the proper size & type of chew for your dog's age, weight & chewing strength. - "The Amazon page says it's 'Safe for All Dog Sizes.'" + Always supervise the use of all chews & toys - "The Amazon page says 'a safe alternative to edible chews when you can’t be home.'" + Product is not intended to be eaten or ingested. If you think your dog swallowed a piece, take the product away and contact your veterinarian. - "The Amazon page says it 'provides a safer alternative to real sticks. Safe non-toxic. A safe alternative to edible chews when you can’t be home." I've been disappointed by Amazon purchases before, but this is the first negative review I've written because this thing seems dangerous for dogs. I would report it to Amazon, but I can't figure out how.

It's not for aggressive chewers.
Flavor Name: Peanut Butter, Size: Large
The bone looks solid except for the brown strip wrapped around it. My dog chewed a piece of it off and tried to swallow them. I had to pull two strips of hard plastic out of his mouth. I threw the bone away.
