Pierre Vincent Girardin, working from his state-of-the-art winery in Meursault, has brought new vitality to the region's most prestigious appellations. Sourced from the Lavaux Saint-Jacques vineyard, a revered Premier Cru site known for its structured yet expressive Pinot Noir, this wine captures the essence of its limestone-rich soils and cool northeastern exposure.
In the glass, this 2020 vintage reveals a perfumed bouquet of dark cherry, crushed raspberry, violets, and subtle forest floor. The palate is vibrant and layered, carrying a tension between purity and power with refined tannins and a precise mineral edge. Notes of red berries, earthy spice, and hints of smoked tea evolve with air, offering both youthful charm and long-term aging potential.
