These shocks are a simple bolt-on installation that will greatly enhance the on and off road handling of your Chevy or GMC HD. Their heat-reducing design includes a metal-impacted aluminum shock body that dissipates heat faster than conventional steel.

FOX 2.0 Performance Shocks are some of the best performing out there with a long list of features that set them apart. Its aluminum body is metal-impacted so its cooling capacity is increased while also making it rust-resistant. Its vehicle-specific housing also makes it fit like a glove so you won't have any added noise or vibration. Inside this "beast" of a shock is the internal reservoir with its Internal Floating Piston (IFP) mono-tube design. This keeps your shock oil away from the high-pressure nitrogen gas chamber so you don't have to worry about oil aeration giving you unsurpassed performance over what you're used to with your old shocks. I find the illustrations (which are either done by a 5 year old or an adult as talented an artist as I am) painful but I give the text 6 out of 5 stars so when I take a star off for the over-the-top illustrations we're still at 5/5 ;) Kids who have greater access to exclusively modern media with intense graphics may not be able to relate to the material: the graphics are a big hurdle and the text is pretty dated too. I'm sure an updated version would be even more engaging for my kids but what it lacks in exciting, current graphics it makes up for in specificity and clarity for my two.
