FAKE, born Manuel Seikritt in 1980 in Amsterdam, is a Dutch street artist known for his vibrant stencil work and clever social commentary. Growing up in a grey, industrial environment, he developed a desire to bring color and wit into the urban landscape. Entirely self-taught, FAKE began experimenting with graffiti and stencils in the early 2000s, discovering that stenciling allowed him to create bold, repeatable images with precision and speed.
