Формат издания: 25 см х 29 см. Павел Петрович умер в 46 лет, процарствовав лишь четыре с небольшим года. Ему повезло - его отец правил всего полгода и был убит в 34.
Высказывания потомков о Павле I были не столь уничижительны, как в адрес Петра III. Никому в голову не могла прийти идея причислить к лику святых Петра Федоровича, а канонизации Павла в начале XX века помешали лишь война и последующая революция.
Отца и сына роднит (употребляя этот термин, мы не собираемся вдаваться в неблагодарную альковную тему) практически забытое с петровских времен желание не царствовать, но править. Благие намерения привели обоих к одинаковому концу.
