The center layer or shim layer is a stainless steel layer that is folded back upon itself to create the locking portion of the bore seal. I like that they stay on pretty well. also liked the thickness - not too thin / not to thick. also i like that on the inside there are no random threads all over ... i found that to be a problem in similarly priced products from other major brands (and also the cheap options at costco also had that same issue). I've had them a few months and I think they'll last.

Still great! I think they'll easily last me 2-3 yrs! Love how comfy they are. easy to pull on / off. nice colors. highly recommend. I bought some road runner sports socks for almost 5X the price at the same time i got these and while the road runner socks are pretty good for sports (they fit tighter so tend to stay on in active mode), i find these under armour socks much more comfy for daily wear.

Good coverage and size, looks nice and easy to use.

My son uses this to partially cover his window as he is in a high rise and people can look in. It is tall enough and wide enough to provide reasonable coverage and because it doesn't require putting it together, it is very handy to use immediately. Good value for the dollar and looks nice.
