The gods are at odds, and Rome is in disarray. It's up to us to restore its former glory! With the favor of the gods, we'll guide our tribe to unity and strength, leading Rome to greatness once more.

Gods of Rome is a competitive area-control game that combines worker placement and card activation, with a playtime of about 60 minutes. Each player selects a tribe at the beginning and strives to earn the gods' favor. On your turn, you can choose one of three actions:

Visit a God: Receive a god's blessing token, which grants an enhanced action later, and place a meeple in the god's color (which might match another player’s color) on the board in a corresponding location.

Activate a Card: Place a token on an action space on your player board to add more figures, move figures, or attack opponents. If you have a blessing token matching the action's location, you can perform an enhanced action.

Score: Move up the victory track based on the territories you control in regions corresponding to the gods you've visited. Clear all action spaces and remove your tokens from god spaces. Special objectives vary the scoring of territories each game.

The favor track has three checkpoints. As players gain favor, they advance on this track. When a player reaches a checkpoint, all players score points based on their position on the favor track, then advance to the next checkpoint. After the third checkpoint, players score points one last time, and the player with the highest overall score wins.
