NOS Vintage Boge "Automatic" Front Shock – VW Beetle / Ghia / Type 3
Condition: New Old Stock (NOS) | Original Box Included
Brand: BOGE (Genuine Made in Germany)
Part Number: 27-102-0

Up for sale is a rare, period-correct Boge Automatic oil-pressure shock absorber. If you are performing a concourse restoration or simply want that original factory ride quality that modern gas shocks can’t replicate, this is the part you need.

Boge was the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for Volkswagen for decades. This is not a modern reproduction; it is a genuine German-made unit from the era when quality was the only standard.

Vehicle Compatibility:
This "Eye-to-Pin" style shock is designed for the Front Suspension of the following:

VW Beetle (Standard): 1966 – 1977 (Ball Joint front ends)

VW Karmann Ghia: 1966 – 1974

VW Type 3 (Notchback, Squareback, Fastback): 1962 – 1973

Product Highlights:
Authentic "Automatic" Series: Engineered for a smooth, progressive dampening effect.

Original Packaging: Comes in the iconic blue and white Boge "Schwingungsdämpfung" box.

German Engineering: Stamped with Boge branding and part numbers directly on the housing.

Preserved Quality: The piston rod is clean with no pitting, and the lower bushing is still supple.

Note: This is a single (1) shock absorber. Please check your specific application and part numbers to ensure fitment. Does not fit Super Beetle (1302/1303) models.

Untold Historical Legend!
Format: Paperback
This book tells the story of one of the greatest American heroes, Robert F. Williams. Robert F. Williams life and acts of heroism should be taught in every school and his name should be as well known as the names of Malcolm X and Martin Luther King Jr. This book details the life of Williams and the tragic events that led to him becoming an activist during the Civil Rights Movement. It’s a short book and is less than 100 pages long. It’s a quick read and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about American history and one of America’s greatest hero who has been erased from history books until now.
