6-Speed Transmission with High/Low Range for CISON V8 Engine Model Kits

Upgrade Your RC Build — Built for the CISON V8 Engine

Take your RC car to the next level with this high-performance transmission system designed to work perfectly with the CISON V8 engine. Whether you enjoy rock crawling, racing, or custom builds, this gearbox gives you more control, more speed options, and easier installation.

Why You’ll Love It:

Plug-and-Play with the CISON V8:
Just connect it to your engine’s flywheel—no modifications or extra parts needed.

6 Gears to Play With (3 Forward × High/Low Range):
That means 6 forward speeds in total. Whether you're climbing hills or speeding on flat ground, this gearbox adjusts to your driving style.

Built-in Reverse + Braking:
Go backward without stopping. It even comes with a brake system built in, so no need to install a separate brake for gas-powered builds.

Strong Multi-Clutch Setup:
Every gear uses steel clutch plates to make shifting smoother and reduce wear over time.

Easy Servo Mounting:
It includes space for mounting a servo motor—no need to figure out custom placement.

Default Disengaged Clutch Design:
This is safer and easier to use, especially in emergency situations or tricky terrain.

Shift Without Losing Power:
You can switch gears smoothly without cutting engine power—just like a pro RC setup.

What Makes This Gearbox Special:

Shift gears without cutting throttle — smooth and fast

Built for serious climbing and high-speed action

Compact but powerful — with room to grow

Can even do hard launches (though not recommended too often)

A Few Things to Note:

It’s a dry clutch. Don’t use oil or it might slip.

Slightly longer than traditional gearboxes (about 15% more)

Complex system = a bit more care needed for maintenance

Why We Didn’t Use a Traditional Car Clutch:

Traditional clutches would put too much pressure on the CISON V8’s crankshaft due to its small size. Our design protects your engine while still giving you fast, powerful performance.

FAQ

Q: Does the gearbox come with a clutch and a coupler to connect to the engine flywheel? I can't see any clutch in the photos.

A: Yes, the gearbox comes with 4 internal clutches and a coupler that connects directly to the flywheel of the CISON V8 engine.
The clutch system is built inside the transmission housing, so it’s not visible from the outside in most pictures. You can spot the annotations in the images showing the shift mechanism and brake structure. Additionally, it supports optional customization for L4 engines with a special flywheel housing.

Q: Will there be a RWD (Rear-Wheel Drive) version? I’m building a 1972 Chevy SS and don’t want AWD.

A: Currently, this gearbox is designed as an AWD (All-Wheel Drive) unit and does not have a transmission-disconnection function. However, if you only connect one drive shaft (to the rear), you can effectively use it as RWD.

You can also remove the transfer case if it's just for display or if you don’t need 4WD functionality. Just note that this gearbox is only compatible with the CISON V8 engine — it is not compatible with the TOYAN V8, due to differences in the output shaft and flywheel housing.

This setup works well for display builds or low-speed cruisers like your Chevelle SS proje

Q:Why does this item take longer to ship?

This is a precision micro-scale 6-speed transmission for the CISON V8 engine.
Its extremely small size makes machining, assembly, and adjustment highly demanding, with no mass-production shortcuts available.

Each unit must be manually assembled, fine-tuned, and fully tested for shifting performance and mechanical reliability.
During testing, parts that fail to meet strict standards are discarded rather than reused, often requiring parts to be remade and assembly to restart.

Due to the high machining difficulty, repeated testing, and material rejection during quality control,
production takes approximately 2 months before shipment.

NOT DURABLE, LONG-LASTING, OR USEFUL
Color: A-Navy, Color: A-Navy
I gave this dog toy 2-stars based on my dog toy rating system (DTRS) for “Albert” the Blue Bear! Safety (1-rating): Albert fell apart after 4-hours of use. 1. The ears were chewed off and I was only able to find one of them, which means my dog swallowed the other ear. Very big concern as it depends on how big your dog is to pass this object. The ear is about the size of 1.5-quarters. 2. The tail was almost chewed off entirely and was hanging on by a thread before I threw it out. 3. After the ears came off, the inside foam started to come out, which raised my concern for my dog’s saftey. 4. The entire body was soft and did not cause any harm to teeth, gums, paws, nose, etc. Durability (3-rating): 1. The ears and tail are the weakest parts of Albert as they can easily be chewed off. 2. The body is durable enough to sustain 4-hours of use, as I threw Albert out after the ears and tail were torn off within 4-hours. 3. The small squeaker inside Albert’s belly was broken after 15-minutes of use. Thank Goodness! 4. My next concern was how long the arms and legs would last; TBD! Squeaker (1-rating): 1. Small plastic squeaker, the size of a half-dollar, with a high pitched noise. Fatality (2-rating): 1. Albert was put to rest after 4-hours of use as I was concerned for the safety of my dog with continued use. 2. If Albert didn’t come with ears or a tail, I can only imagine how long he would’ve survived as the material seemed to be durable enough to withstand continued use. In conclusion, “Albert” the Blue Bear is not worth the money for a toy that falls apart after 4-hrs of use and with the concerns of safety. I was surprised that it was only 8-inches tall, next time I’ll confirm the size of the toy before I purchase the next one. About my dog “Cannoli” for comparison: Breed: Blue Healer / Lab mix Weight: 40-lbs Energy Level: High Age: 7-months Chew Rating: Aggressive

The dog won!

It’s not indestructible. Wonder if I can get a refund or another toy. It did last longer than most so I give them credit for that!

Almost good enough
Color: E-Navy+Purple
My dog chewy can rip through anything, even these. I do love the toys they’re great. They’re made with coconut on the inside, but could somebody please!, make a chew toy worthy of my dogs teeth, cause this ain’t it. But it is the strongest so far . I would recommend it. My doodle chewy short for Chewbacca is insane about chewing.

Could be more durable.
Color: A-Navy
It’s not as durable as I’d hoped. I’ve had to mend it. It’s cute, though, and my dog likes it. He’s an Aussie, so not great bite strength.

Cute but disappointing
Color: C-Navy+Oak, Color: C-Navy+Oak
One of my dogs love these however they are far from indestructible. Two days after giving the teddy to him, the tail of the teddy is off and there is a rip by one of the arms. They are very cute teddies but not for heavy chewers as they will only last a few days.
