Idaira is an ambitious, strong, yet an externally shallow-looking woman with a past marked by poverty. Ten years ago, she started a new life away from her family and friends and during that time she has fought hard for a dream that she believes she has now achieved.

Airam is a free spirit, adventurous, charismatic, modest, and in love with surfing. He lives in Fuerteventura and has one thing clear: he will never give up his lifestyle.

Both were close friends when they were kids, but their paths parted ways. Today fate brings them together again. They say that second chances never work out, but also that there is always an exception to the rule. Will they be the exception or the rule? Will Idaira be able to find her way back? And, most importantly, does she want to?
