Step into the golden age of television with Suzanne Pleshette - Volume 1, a specially curated DVD featuring two standout episode of the classic drama Route 66, showcasing the early brilliance of one of Hollywood's most captivating actresses.

Before her iconic roles in film and sitcoms, Suzanne Pleshette delivered powerful performances on the open-road anthology series that captured the spirit of 1960s America.

Each episode of Route 66 follows best friends Tod Stiles (Martin Milner) and Buz Murdock (George Maharis) as the travel the country in a Corvette convertible, encountering extraordinary people and unforgettable stories along the way.

In this volume, Pleshette brings depth, mystery, and emotional resonance to two compelling characters in episodes that remain fan favorites.

Episode 1: "The Strengthening Angels"
Original Air Date: November 4, 1960
Tod and Buz, driving through California "West by North" in a rainstorm nearly run over a young woman named Lotti Montana (Pleshette). As the trio approaches Sparrow Falls, Lotti asks they drive through town as fast as possible, but when they stop, they find she is on the run from a murder charge. Despite the protests of the Sheriff (John Larch), the townspeople and the woman herself, Buz feels there is more to the story than obvious guilt. Also features Harry Townes, Warren Stevens, Hal Smith and Tom Reefe.

Episode 2: "Blue Murder"
Original Air Date: September 29, 1961
Buz and Tod warily transport a horse with a reputation as a killer to its new owner, whose family is as dysfunctional as any clan Tennessee Williams conjured up. The owner's sensuous wife Blossom (Pleshette) toys with Buz poolside, as she explains why she chose her power-crazed husband (Gene Evans) over her passive brother-in-law (Harry Townes). A third brother, the brawny Cam (Claude Akins), stands brooding and mute as the owner struggles to break the stallion, the way he tamed his own family. As usual, the episode features superb on-location photography, this time in Butte, Montana.

Celebrate the early work of a television legend with Suzanne Pleshette – Volume 1, a timeless tribute to her talent, allure, and unforgettable presence on Route 66.

A great book for exploring touch sensory with you little ones! The pages are cute, educational, and thoughtful. The book is very well made and durable! It’s a great value, and honestly I feel like the price is look for how high quality it is. I love that it provides hands on interactive opportunities and encourages creativity. I suggest for 6 months plus! As the child grows so does the adventure with this book!

It's very entertaining for the baby, she loves it. It has lots of different textures, shapes and colors. The only drawback is that it breaks easily at the seams. Ours only lasted a few days before the pages started coming off from the cover

Really great book for starting story time babies
Format: Board book
6 mos old LOVES this book. Loves touching the pages, looking at the other babies. Big-gish sized book, with vivid images. This is a thick board book, that should hold up very well to babies who might want to add gnawing to their story time.
