Hand-cast and finished with metal powder, this premium San Francisco Skyline Chess Set features iconic landmarks like the Transamerica Pyramid and Salesforce Tower - stylish, weighty, and unforgettable.

This beautiful premium metal Skyline set of pieces was introduced in September 2018 to the Skyline chess family. This item, along with the London and New York editions, makes up the premium metal range. Each piece is individually cast by hand in beautiful, solid resin. Metal powder is then added to the pieces, which gives them weight and provides a fantastic, unique finish.

The premium metal range fits the city maps, the marble and wooden skyline chessboards perfectly. Such iconic landmarks and the quality and precision are unforgettable.

The buildings chosen for the set were based on the city's most recognisable and influential forms from the 20th century. This includes the iconic Transamerica Pyramid and Painted Ladies, but also the Salesforce Tower, which opened in January 2018.
