Step into a world of vibrant design with these vintage Rosenthal Metropol Bread Plates, a true celebration of postmodern art.

Designed by Barbara Brenner for Rosenthal's renowned Studio Line, these plates are a piece of design history. Produced in the 1980s and 1990s, the Metropol pattern, also known as Scenario, is a stunning example of the bold, colorful, and geometric look of the 1980's.

Each plate is an array of abstract shapes and a striking color palette. The New Wave style brings an energetic and artistic feel to your dining experience and helps present your food for what it is...a work of art and care. The stark white porcelain provides a perfect backdrop for the vibrant blues, yellows, reds, and blacks that dance across the surface in a dynamic arrangement.

Crafted from high quality porcelain, these plates are not only beautiful but also durable. Rosenthal is a German porcelain manufactory with a long history of excellence and cooperation with designers.

Whether you are a collector of postmodern design, a lover of vintage Rosenthal, or simply someone who appreciates a pop of color on your table, these bread plates are an extraordinary find. They measure approximately 7 inches in diameter and are perfect for serving small appetizers, desserts, or a warm, crusty bread.

Do not just set your table; create an artful experience. Add these rare and coveted Rosenthal Metropol Bread Plates by Barbara Brenner to your collection and own a piece of iconic design.

Smooth edges better than twisting
Works a lot better than the crank style and the counter top electric and you can use the lid to reseal the can if you don't use the whole thing.

Worked for only 4 months. Now produces metal shards. Dangerous
Pros: Can be used with one hand. I bought this to have after surgery that left me without use of one arm for a few months. The light blinks when you need to charge it. Only needs a 2-3 min charge for enough juice to open a can. Cons: IT QUIT CUTTING CORRECTLY AFTER 4 MONTHS. I now have to use both hands to hold it in place to get it to latch on to the can. It also requires a few rotations around the top to cut through the seal, resulting in METAL SHARDS! The metal shards are super sharp and almost invisible. I stabbed myself with one enough to draw blood. This is dangerous as the metal could fall into the food when pouring from the can.

Can opener
It doesn't shut off by itself when done and doesn't shut off when I push the button, so after a while it will shut off but when it wants too after you take it off the can ,like 30 seconds. But I do like the way it cuts, a clean cut and lid removal nice.
