The 696 PLUS Complete Master Communication Kit includes a radio and an intercom devoid of vehicle-specific mounts, optimal for tailor-made constructions or comms upgrades. The intercom offers enhanced bluetooth with comprehensive control over cell phone and music operations directly from the intercom panel. It connects to any Bluetooth device including GPS. PTT (push-to-talk) promises convenient communication between multiple vehicles, automatically dimming the music during conversations. The kit supports in-car communication through headsets or helmet kits, thus eliminating the need for raised voices. Its radio provides long-distance vehicle-to-vehicle communication options for either VHF Business Band or GMRS mobile, all under the user's control. The product kit contains a 696PLUS Intercom, 12' Intercom Cables, Helmet Kits, M1 VHF Business Band or G1 GMRS Mobile Radio, long-range antenna, coax cable, push-to-talk buttons, an active noise filter, and reusable soft wrap cable ties. The user may need a 5-pin extension if the M1-V radio isn't mounted within a foot of the intercom deck. Also, optional headsets and wired helmets are available separately. If the user encounters difficulty choosing between GMRS or Business Band, assistance is offered. A business license is mandatory.
