HOW TO SPOT A BURBERRY THAT IS NOT REAL:

It is easy. Look for these telltale signs:

1. Labels and Tags
Neck Tag: Authentic coats will have "BURBERRY" in large, capital letters, often with "LONDON ENGLAND" below it (or "BURBERRYS" for coats made before 1999). The text should be clean, crisp, and evenly spaced, with consistent font thickness. Fakes often have bold, clumsy, or uneven stitching/printing. Newer coats may feature the updated, sans-serif logo.

Wash/Care Tags:

Look for a long, rectangular fabric tag stitched inside (often on the side seam). This tag lists the garment's composition and care instructions. Authentic tags often have a 13-digit serial number on the backside, along with the London address (Horseferry House, Horseferry Road, London SW1P 2AW). For the Kensington model, some tags will explicitly feature the model name "THE KENSINGTON" in a bold, boxy font, followed by a confident, handwritten-style "Made in England" (if applicable). Fakes often have thin, stretched-out text.

Size Tag: Look for a tag (sometimes near the wash tag) showing the size in different formats (e.g., UK, US, IT). The text should be consistently sized and properly spaced.

2. Fabric and Stitching
Material Quality: Authentic Burberry trench coats are typically made from gabardine, a tightly woven, water-resistant cotton fabric invented by Thomas Burberry. It should feel durable, substantial, and high-quality. Counterfeits often feel thin, flimsy, or less robust.

Stitching Precision: The stitching must be perfectly straight, even, and consistent throughout the coat, with no loose or hanging threads.

The collar is a key indicator: the intricate, hand-stitched process for the collar on a genuine trench coat is a signature of the brand, requiring over 100 steps and more than 180 stitches to create a fluid curve. Fakes will typically have machine-stitching that is less neat.

Check for a high stitch count (approx. 11.5 stitches per 1 inch/2.5 cm) on the collar.

3. Lining (The Check Pattern)
Pattern Symmetry: The signature Burberry check pattern (often "Vintage Check" or "Haymarket Check") on the lining should be perfectly symmetrical and the lines must match up seamlessly across all seams and panels.

Color and Line Thickness: The colors (usually tan, black, gray, and red) should be rich and consistent. Counterfeits often have distorted, uneven patterns, lines that are too thick or too thin, or colors that look dull or bled.

4. Hardware (Buttons and Buckles)
Buttons: Most authentic Burberry buttons (especially on the Heritage line) are made from buffalo horn. Metal buttons are also used, and often feature the company name written twice in an arched, circular shape around the button, or an Equestrian Knight or TB Monogram engraving. The engraving should be clean, neat, and subtle, not pressed too deep or looking messy. Blank buttons are a red flag.

Buckles: The Kensington trench coat typically has calfskin leather-covered buckles on the belt and cuff straps. The leather should be high quality, and the stitching around the buckles should be flawless.

5. Construction Details
Functional Features: Check for all the military-inspired, functional details associated with the trench coat design:

Gun Flap (or storm flap) on the right shoulder.

Epaulettes (shoulder tabs).

Throat Latch (a piece that can be buttoned across the collar for weather protection, often hidden under the collar when not in use).

Good value. Not OEM
These clips don't fit perfectly for my honda civic. They also aren't as strong or durable as the OEM clips. The plastic is harder so they crack and fall out instead of giving if you're driving on bumpy roads. However, having a bunch of these clips in the back so I don't have to look up part numbers and order a bunch of different things is great. It does the trick and is way better than having your trim fall off. It's a quick and dirty fix... but hey, if you do DIY repairs and aren't going to the shop for it, it's probably what you are looking for.

Clips are awesome, tools kinda crappy
The assortment is on point with OE supplied retainers, the ones with metal especially are just like the originals offered by Honda.

Honda Panel Pop Rivets
Why did you pick this product vs others?: This product pack offered all the sizing I needed. The rivets fit perfectly in the wheel well panel. I was able to replace the window washer reservoir and replace all the rivets. The end result was a panel held in better than before I started the project.

Worth the money
Had to pull the front bumper on my 2012 honda cr-v. Had all the clips that I needed except two on each side in the fender weld. Worth the money.
