Joe Hanly is a painter, printmaker and occasional 3D artist living in Dublin. He has exhibited extensively throughout Ireland since early 1980s with solo exhibitions in such venues as Project Arts Centre, Limerick City Gallery, RHA Gallagher Gallery, Butler Gallery, Kilkenny, Model Arts, Sligo and Temple Bar Gallery + Studios and his work is included in many private and public collections. He lectured in Fine Art, at DIT from 1984–2014 and IADT from 1981–1984. Recent exhibitions, include TAP, The Complex, Dublin (2022); TREE, Temple Bar Gallery and Studios, Dublin (2018); and the curation of and participation in the group exhibition DISRUPTORS, Highlanes Gallery, Dhogeda (2019).
