Operating as a base station, the H-RTK NEO-F9P utilizes its multi-band capabilities ( GPS L1 C/A & L5, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS ) to receive satellite signals from a fixed, known location. It then calculates precise correction data essential for roving units (sold separately) to achieve RTK Fixed solutions.

The included high-gain Base Station Antenna is crucial for this role, ensuring stable, high-quality signal reception across all relevant GNSS frequencies, maximizing the accuracy and reliability of the generated corrections. The module's advanced filtering and amplification (Hybrid Coupler, SAW, LNA) further enhance signal integrity.

While the integrated PNI RM3100 compass is present on the module, its primary role here is within the robust NEO-F9P module itself; the base station function relies predominantly on stable GNSS reception.

Connectivity options allow flexible integration into your ground setup: choose the UART version (connecting via GPS1 & GPS2 Ports ) for serial data output or the DroneCAN version (connecting via the CAN Port ) for networked systems. The DroneCAN version includes an MCU, IMU, and barometer, though these are less critical for a standard base station function compared to rover use. A tri-color LED provides convenient status indication.
