Solaia 2019 si presenta di un colore rosso rubino profondo. Al naso si distingue per la sua complessità e finezza aromatica: note di piccoli frutti rossi, in particolare lampone e mora di gelso, si alternano a dolci sentori di albicocca matura e arancia rossa uniti a leggere sfumature floreali di rosa; perfettamente integrati gli evidenti aromi di chicco di caffè, cioccolata e liquirizia, accompagnate da fresche sensazioni di menta e pepe bianco, capaci di donare al ricco bouquet una piacevole e delicata nota piccante. Al palato è avvolgente, armonico, con un’ottima ed equilibrata struttura; i tannini dolci e vibranti lo rendono compatto, suadente e con un finale straordinariamente lungo. Molto persistente il retrogusto, dove si ritrovano le note tostate e speziate percepite al naso.

Vinificazione L’attenzione è stata elevata, sia in vigneto durante la raccoltasiain cantina, dove le uve sono state diraspate e gli acini, prima di essere delicatamente pigiati, accuratamente selezionati al tavolo di cernita per essere poi trasferiti per gravità nei serbatoi. É fondamentale infatti che nei serbatoi di vinificazione troncoconici da 60 Hl giungano solo gli acini perfetti. Durante la fermentazione e la macerazione è stata prestata massima attenzione nel mantenere il corretto equilibrio tra il frutto e la qualità del tannino in modo da donare alvino dolcezza e fragranza oltre che identità e carattere. Immediatamente dopo la svinatura è stata avviata la fermentazione malolattica che, in barrique, ha esaltato la complessità e la piacevolezza del vino. Il processo di affinamento è avvenuto in fusti nuovi di rovere francese per circa 18 mesi. Dopo un primo periodo di affinamento in lotti separati, questi sono stati assemblati per completare l’evoluzione in legno.

Tenuta Tignanello

Tenuta Tignanello si trova nel cuore del Chianti Classico, sulle morbide colline racchiuse tra le valli della Greve e della Pesa e si estende per 319 ettari di terreni, con circa 130 ettari vitati. Tra i suoi vigneti, due tesori: il vigneto Tignanello e il vigneto Solaia che si estendono sulla medesima collina, su terreni derivanti da marne marine del Pliocene con calcare e scisto, e godono di giorni caldi e notti fresche durante la stagione della crescita. Dagli omonimi vigneti si producono Solaia e Tignanello, che sono stati definiti dalla stampa internazionale “tra i vini più influenti nella storia vitivinicola italiana”. Secondo i Marchesi Antinori, rappresentano una sfida continua ed una passione mai finita. I vigneti di Tenuta Tignanello sono composti principalmente dall’autoctono Sangiovese e da varietà non tradizionali come Cabernet Sauvignon e Cabernet Franc.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Slightly repetitive but I did love some things

I love this type of story. And omegaverse is one of my all time favorite genres. But there are a few things that pulled me out of my enjoyment while I was reading. It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character.
