Description

Victorian Initial Intaglio Ring in 9 Carat Gold; Circa 1880A deeply evocative Victorian ring, rich in personal history and sentiment. At its heart is a beautifully carved agate intaglio, a miniature work of art that would have been created to represent identity, legacy and remembrance. Such rings were often worn daily, becoming intimate companions that carried meaning far beyond decoration. The central focus is a shield shaped intaglio carved into softly banded agate, engraved with the intertwined initials H

A deeply evocative Victorian ring, rich in personal history and sentiment. At its heart is a beautifully carved agate intaglio, a miniature work of art that would have been created to represent identity, legacy and remembrance. Such rings were often worn daily, becoming intimate companions that carried meaning far beyond decoration.

The central focus is a shield shaped intaglio carved into softly banded agate, engraved with the intertwined initials “H H” The ornate Victorian script speaks to individuality and pride, suggesting a ring made for a specific person or family, rather than for fashion alone. Intaglios of this kind were traditionally used as personal seals, reinforcing their role as symbols of status and self.

The stone is set within an oval 9 carat gold mount, its warm tone perfectly complementing the agate. The engraved, flowing shoulders are unmistakably Victorian, adding elegance while framing the intaglio beautifully.

Dating firmly to the Victorian era, this is an unusually characterful and historically resonant ring. A true collector’s piece and a tangible link to the life and identity of its original owner.

Great Book!
Format: Kindle
This book is awesome! I used it as a part of my reading lesson plan for preschool-age children. While I did not teach the lesson, my professor was impressed with the quality of resources I utilized in my lesson planning assignments, which includes this book! I enjoyed the colors, simple words, and finding the rabbit throughout the pages of this book!

I'm sure it is a wonderful book
Format: Board book
I bought this book for my nephew. I'm sure it is an absolutely lovely book with a great message, but I have not had the pleasure of reading it myself yet. And since my sister in law is an ingrate and never writes thank you notes or calls to say, "hey, thanks for sending my kid a gift!", I really have no idea. But I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

Excellent for the preschooler
Simple, straight-forward and a great follow along book for the preschool, pre-reader. We enjoyed the simple story and the more complex drawings but also the layout makes it easy for our little guy to identify particular words as we read.
