Air is directed through a new air intake tube constructed of cross-linked, high-density polyethylene that is designed using extensive computer modeling to maintain proper mass air flow readings and calibration. Many MXP Air Intake Systems have a built-in velocity stack, which further promotes airflow. What this all means is that you get a simple-to-install, yet extremely sophisticated system to increase air flow while maintaining proper air-to-fuel ratios, thereby eliminating the need for recalibration after installation. May not fit correctly or is difficult to fit on.
Would not advise buying. It wouldn’t fit with the o ring nor with the old one, it would only go in with no o ring. So I had to put back my old hinge and o ring. Edit: I had to add coolant to the O ring, along with somewhat forcing/prying it in in order to get it to fit flush.

Quick solution to replace that OEM Plastic Mount in your BMW E90
Effective Upgrade: After installation, I have experienced no leaks, which is a significant improvement for my vehicle.
Quality Material: The aluminum construction feels durable and sturdy, offering a long-lasting solution compared to the original fitting.
Cons:
The installation process was a bit tricky. The holes didn't line up perfectly, making it a challenge to fit. While there was no need for drilling, finding the right angle to fit it required some patience and effort. Wider holes could have made the installation easier. I rate it 4 stars because of that.
Despite the challenging installation, the Aluminum Water Hose Fitting Upgrade is a worthwhile investment for anyone experiencing leaks. The improved performance and durability make it a recommended upgrade for BMW E90 owners.
