Rosso rubino, con riflessi granata. Al naso si rivela intenso e complesso; si esprime con sentori dominanti di frutti di bosco e note balsamiche. Al palato si presenta avvolgente, caldo, morbido, setoso nei tannini e di buona persistenza.

Il Sicilia Rosso DOC "ViaFrancia - Riserva" firmato Baglio di Pianetto nasce con l'intento di affermare, ancora di più, la vocazione francese dell'azienda; inoltre, Via Francia è anche la via che attraversa l'azienda e quindi questo vino vuole essere, anche, un'occasione per dare ulteriore voce al territorio natio. L'impronta è prettamente francese, sia per la varietà scelta, che per le interazioni suolo-vitigno che la Tenuta di Pianetto a Santa Cristina Gela riesce ad assicurare e il vino si rivela di qualità fine, ricco al naso e sorprendentemente suadente.

Ottimo in abbinamento ai primi di carne, si sposa bene anche con i secondi di carne rossa.
