WallyReference Combo Kit

SRA/VTA Measurement Device

  • The only tool that allows simple, quick and repeatable confirmation that the top surface of your cartridge is perfectly level in BOTH horizontal axes – front/back (SRA/VTA) & left/right (azimuth)

  • Changing tonearm height changes not only Stylus Rake Angle (SRA) but in many tonearms models also changes azimuth angle. WallyReference allows you to compensate for the effect.

  • On most tonearms, changing azimuth also changes SRA. WallyReference allows you to compensate for this and keep SRA/VTA constant.

  • An essential tool for finding the ideal SRA/VTA for your specific cartridge

  • Quickly and easily move your cartridge to other tonearms with the same ideal SRA/VTA and azimuth angles - No need for a second turntable or tonearm when you can setup all cartridge/tonearm parameters in 15-20 minutes

  • Includes personalized support from WAM Engineering

WHY DOES THE WALLYREFERENCE HAVE FIVE DIFFERENT BLADES?

Each of the five blades has a different function

  1. One Dual Axis Blade – A level headshell requires TWO axes to confirm a plane level to the record surface

  2. Two blades for tonearms with indirect azimuth mechanisms – If your tonearm has a straight armwand it is almost certainly an Indirect Azimuth tonearm.

    1. SRA/VTA Blade displays headshell angle on front/back axis independently of any tilt on the left/right (azimuth) axis.

    2. Azimuth Blade displays headshell angle on left/right axis independently of any tilt on the front/back (SRA/VTA) axis.

  3. Two blades for tonearms with true azimuth mechanisms – If your tonearm has a curved or angled armwand it is a True Azimuth tonearm. Tonearms with no azimuth adjustment mechanism at all are also True Azimuth tonearms.

    1. SRA/VTA Blade displays headshell angle on front/back axis independently of any tilt on the left/right (azimuth) axis.

    2. Azimuth Blade displays headshell angle on left/right axis independently of any tilt on the front/back (SRA/VTA) axis.

When you purchase a WallyReference, you choose Indirect Azimuth, True Azimuth or both in a combo set.

Azimuth Calibration Note: A solution for measuring azimuth angles on “free-rolling” unipivot tonearms is currently under development. “Free-rolling” unipivots (as opposed to unipivots designed with a rigid stabilizing mechanism) allow the pivot housing to rock atop the unipivot in a clockwise/ counterclockwise manner along the axis of the armwand.

The WallyReference arrived and I have successfully completed SRA adjustments on my SME V and Rega RB2000 tonearms. It actually took me longer to find a dropped cartridge screw than it did to make the changes with the WallyTool! The *genius* of these tools is the beautiful simplicity of their physical designs which are based on the thorough understanding of the desired results and their ease of use in achieving those goals.

The WallyReference is a 16mm-tall device that comes with shims. With the cartridge lowered, stylus sitting in the record groove (but turntable not turning!), use the “standup” height gauge supplied with the WallyReference to measure the distance from the record surface to the headshell’s lower surface. If the measured height is 16mm, you’re all set, but if it’s more (I can’t recall encountering a cartridge that was less), locate the appropriate shims (supplied) to make up the difference. Now, remove the cartridge and affix the WallyReference (with shims) to the headshell.

Longest lasting toy in our toy box
Size: 6 in, Color: Blue
My German shepherd/Austrian shepherd mix destroys toys very quickly. This is his longest lasting toy that he actually uses and still has no visible signs of destruction.

actually durable
Size: 6 in, Color: Blue
my puppy shreds every "indestructible" toy I give to her instantly. she's had one for months and it is only missing a corner of it, so I bought a spare. it also smells like food. she loves it.

Great chew toy
The bam bone is definitely a great choice for a dog that loves to chew whenever I hand my dog one of these he just gets excited and then he’ll just chew on it for at least 1520 minutes at the beginning and then it will last him for at least good three weeks to a month before I need to get him another one that’s why I definitely like the two pack

Small chewer dog friendly...2 in package..Funx2
Shiba pup LOVES these. We play fetch in the back yard with one and the other is to gnaw on rather than my couch inside!! He is a super super duper chewer and really enjoying his new teeth so much that he's gnawed past the brown of the stick to white plastic so I had to take 1 away. It's a smaller stick 6-8 inches so I do worry about him walking or running while playing fetch and falling (new feet too!!) and hurt his mouth or throat. I will definitely be replacing it at least 1x while he's small but I wouldn't recommend this item to a big dog with big teeth.
