Born in Havana, Cuba, on July 30, 1958, José Fors moved with his family to Mexico City in 1967 and later spent his adolescence in Guadalajara, Jalisco. In 1990, he co-founded the musical group CUCA, a landmark band in Mexico’s rock and hard rock scene. Fors has maintained a prolific artistic career, including more than 63 solo exhibitions, 42 group exhibitions worldwide, and over 20 recorded albums.
