The Titus Heavy-Duty Bariatric Wheelchair is designed for users who need reinforced strength, extra-wide seating, and dependable everyday mobility support. Built with a heavy-duty slide tube steel frame and available in seat widths from 22" to 30", this bariatric wheelchair combines high-capacity durability with practical comfort for homecare, rehabilitation, and long-term mobility use.

Engineered to support up to 700 lbs depending on seat size, the Titus provides stable manual wheelchair performance without sacrificing transfer convenience or adjustability. Reinforced upholstery, removable arm options, large rear wheels, and optional elevating leg rests help create a more supportive and adaptable seating experience for users requiring wider dimensions and higher weight capacities.

Built for Bariatric Support & Extra Wide Comfort

The Titus Heavy-Duty Wheelchair is engineered to provide reliable support for users who require wider seating dimensions and reinforced frame strength. Available in seat widths of 22", 24", 26", 28", and 30", the wheelchair accommodates a broad range of body types and seating needs while maintaining stable daily mobility performance.

Models with 22" and 24" seat widths support up to 500 lbs, while the larger 26", 28", and 30" configurations support up to 700 lbs. Reinforced upholstery, padded armrests, and durable heavy-duty construction help provide comfort and confidence during extended seated use.

The Titus is available with either vinyl or nylon upholstery depending on seat size and can be configured with full-length or desk-length removable arms for improved positioning and transfer accessibility.

Heavy-Duty Mobility & Everyday Maneuverability

The Titus bariatric wheelchair combines reinforced durability with practical everyday maneuverability for indoor and outdoor use. Large 24" rear urethane wheels with durable hand rims help support smooth self-propelled mobility, while 8" x 2" semi-pneumatic front casters assist with stability and obstacle navigation across common surfaces.

Push-to-lock wheel locks provide secure positioning during transfers and seated activities, while the standard dual axle design allows the seat-to-floor height to be adjusted to hemi level when needed. This adjustability helps accommodate users requiring lower seated positioning for easier foot propulsion and transfers.

The reinforced slide tube steel frame is finished in a durable silver vein coating designed for long-term use in homecare, rehabilitation, and facility environments.

Transfer-Friendly Arms & Leg Rest Options

The Titus Heavy-Duty Wheelchair is available with removable full-length or desk-length arms to improve transfer access and seated positioning flexibility. Desk-length arms can provide easier access to desks, tables, and dining surfaces, while removable arm configurations help simplify lateral transfers.

Optional swing-away footrests and tool-free elevating leg rests are available to support different positioning and transfer needs. The elevating leg rests feature pneumatic pistons for smoother adjustment and improved lower extremity positioning during extended seated use.

Larger 28" and 30" wheelchair models also include extra-wide aluminum footplates designed to better accommodate wider seating configurations and improve lower leg support.

Who Benefits from the Titus Heavy-Duty Bariatric Wheelchair?

The Titus is designed for users who require a wider manual wheelchair with reinforced support and higher weight capacity than standard wheelchairs typically provide. It can be a strong option for bariatric seating applications, long-term mobility support, rehabilitation settings, and caregiver-assisted transportation needs.

Its wider seat configurations, reinforced frame design, removable arm options, and positioning accessories make it suitable for users prioritizing comfort, stability, transfer accessibility, and long-term durability in daily wheelchair use.

For users requiring additional transfer assistance, you can also explore our Patient Lift Collection for caregiver support and safer transfer solutions.

Great introduction to Godot 4
Format: Kindle
I've been writing various types of software for 10 years and was interested in learning Godot for 2D games. This book turned out to be informative and easy to follow and gave me the knowledge I was seeking. I learn best by example, and this project focused book was excellent in that regard. If you have zero programming experience, I would recommend learning something like Python before diving into this book. The book teaches with GDScript, which is Godot's Python-like programming language. There are some minor mistakes in the book, but an errata is currently being kept up-to-date on the github repository for the book. I opened a few issues for things I discovered, and the author added those things to the errata. Keep this in mind if you end up getting stuck on something and are 100% sure you followed the directions in the book. I use Unreal for 3D games, so I have not yet gone through the chapters of this book for 3D games. I wouldn't expect a drastic drop in quality, but for the purposes of this review I can't give any insight on the 3D chapters.

A very frustrating experience
Format: Paperback
I very rarely write reviews for things, but I felt compelled to do so for this book based on my experience. I had an amazing experience with this book for the first 3 chapters. There were some errors and things just plain missing in those chapters, but I was able to debug and provide solutions for those things. For example, some lines of code were omitted and score keeping was completely left out from Chapter 3. I have since found that errata is helpfully published on the GitHub repository. Overall I had a lot of fun working through the first 3 chapters. Chapter 4 is where I decided to give up and move on to other resources. I found the lack of guidance on level design and truly understanding and using tile maps and tile sets downright frustrating. Perhaps this chapter would be more approachable if I had prior game development experience. The author very much glosses over level design and it went from a poor explanation of the concept to just "now design your level". Referencing the finished project from the GitHub repository did not provide much assistance either. If you are new to game development, I think the first 3 chapters are a helpful introduction and they have definitely furthered my interest in both Godot and game development. However, I had to bail after Chapter 4 in search of better material. Perhaps I will return to the book after learning more from other resources.
