Випускники закладів освіти, які здобувають повну загальну середню освіту, обов’язково складають державну підсумкову атестацію (ДПА) у формі зовнішнього незалежного оцінювання (ЗНО) з математики. Здобувачі освіти, яким результат ЗНО з математики має зараховуватися як оцінка за ДПА, отримають її за результатами виконання завдань рівня стандарту, якщо вивчали математику на рівні стандарту, або рівня стандарту та профільного рівня, якщо вивчали математику на профільному рівні.

Метою пропонованого навчального посібника є організація самостійної роботи учнів при підготовці до ЗНО за програмою рівня стандарту. У посібнику викладена теорія зі всіх основних тем шкільного курсу геометрії, запропоновано розв’язання низки задач, що роз’яснюють теорію. До кожної теми укладено тематичний тест за типологією тесту ЗНО. Після кожної групи тем подано тест на повторення вивченого матеріалу, який укладено подібно до тесту ЗНО рівня стандарту. До всіх завдань тестів є відповіді. При вивченні теорії тієї чи іншої теми можна переглядати відеоуроки, на які наведено посилання.
