ONE of ONE Hydration is a simple hydration powder that focuses on replacing the electrolytes that keep your fluids balanced and muscles working right, plus taurine to help with cell hydration and performance. It's not some fancy pre-workout acting like hydration. It's a no-stim powder that helps you feel and perform better when sweat, travel, heat, or not drinking enough starts messing with your energy, stamina, and muscle feel.

The big player is 500mg sodium from pink Himalayan sea salt. Sodium is key for real hydration—it helps keep fluids outside your cells, supports nerve signals, and makes sure the water you drink sticks around to help performance instead of just going right through you. In real life, that means you feel less thirsty, rehydrate better, and hold up during long workouts or hot days. A lot of hydration stuff skimps on sodium because the number looks big, but this one doesn't hold back.

Potassium comes in at 305mg as tri-potassium citrate monohydrate. Potassium is the main electrolyte inside your cells, so it helps with fluid balance there, keeps cell signals steady, and teams up with sodium for muscle and nerve function. The combo of sodium and potassium is what really counts, and this has solid amounts of both. The citrate form is easy to handle and common in these kinds of products.

Magnesium is at 100mg as magnesium glycinate. It's not a full day's worth, but it's a smart add for hydration. Magnesium helps with muscle and nerve work and the pump that moves electrolytes around cells (that's the Na+/K+-ATPase pump). The glycinate form is a good pick because organic and chelated magnesium forms generally sh

ONE Hydration by ONE of ONE contains 152mg Calcium, a effective dose for muscle recovery and growth.

Key Highlights

  • 500mg Sodium — this is a real dose that does the heavy lifting in hydration mixes. It helps keep fluids outside your cells, supports nerve signals, and makes water stick around so it actually helps your performance instead of just passing through.
  • 305mg Potassium — a good partner to sodium that handles fluid balance inside cells and keeps muscles working normally. The sodium-potassium team is huge for hydration, and this doesn't treat potassium like an afterthought.
  • 1,000mg Taurine — the boost that makes this stand out. Taurine helps regulate hydration in your cells—like an osmolyte—and studies show it can help with endurance, so it's more than just salts.
  • 100mg Magnesium Glycinate — better than cheap oxide versions in budget stuff. This form absorbs well and is easy on you, and magnesium is key for muscle function and handling electrolytes.
  • 152mg Calcium as Citrate — something a lot of hydration products skip. Calcium helps with muscle signals for contractions, and the citrate form absorbs nicely in this practical setup.
  • Full Electrolyte System — sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium each cover a part of hydration. Together, they help with fluid balance, cell signals, muscle contractions, and steady performance in workouts or heat.
  • No Proprietary Blend — everything's listed with exact doses. In a world of vague electrolyte labels, this transparency lets you see what's really in it and why.
  • Stim-Free by Design — pure hydration, no hidden caffeine. Easy to use anytime—morning, night, during workouts, travel, or with your pre-workout without too much stims.

Who Is This For?

  • Combat athletes with long, sweaty sessions. 500mg sodium and 1,000mg taurine help boxers, MMA folks, and strikers keep output, coordination, and fluids up through rounds.
  • Lifters in hot gyms or heavy sweaters during lifts. The electrolyte mix supports training's electrical and muscle side, taurine keeps you from feeling flat mid-set.
  • Runners and endurance types wanting light electrolytes over sugary drinks. Meaningful sodium, potassium, taurine without stims—use before, during, after based on sweat.
  • Folks who get tight or cramp when dehydrated. Magnesium glycinate, calcium citrate, potassium, sodium all help muscle and nerve function when sweat causes issues.
  • Fasted trainers starting low on fuel and hydration. Stim-free and simple, fits morning workouts to boost readiness without unwanted pre-workout.
  • Travelers, flyers, busy people dehydrated from flights, coffee, heat, weird meals. Compact, practical, hits the minerals you lose when life's chaotic.

How to Use

Mix 1 sachet into 16-24 ounces of water and drink once a day or around workouts, heat, travel, or high hydration needs. For training, 20-30 minutes before is solid—it lets sodium and fluids build up first. Sip during longer stuff like conditioning, fighting, outdoor runs, or endurance where sweat builds. Spoon stirs okay, shaker's better for smooth mix. Less water for stronger taste, more if you want it lighter or need extra fluids. Fine on empty stomach since no stims and light, or with a snack. Stacks well with creatine, protein, stim pre-workouts to cover hydration they miss. No cycling needed. Store cool and dry, keep sachets sealed for taste and ease.

What to Expect

Minutes 0-10: no buzz here, but you feel thirst quenched better and more solid than plain water. Minutes 10-30: fluids and sodium start working, you feel less dry, less flat, more set for training. Minutes 30-90: in the workout, you get steady energy, reliable muscles, fewer drops from dehydration, especially if you sweat buckets. Days 1-7: biggest wins on training, hot, or travel days where you'd normally fade. Weeks 2-4: regular use means consistent sessions, less cramps, better handling long sweaty stuff. It's about stability, not a big rush.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much sodium is in ONE of ONE Hydration?

Each sachet provides 500mg sodium from pink Himalayan sea salt. That is a meaningful hydration dose and one of the strongest parts of the formula, because sodium is the primary electrolyte responsible for fluid retention, plasma volume support, and effective rehydration.

Does ONE of ONE Hydration contain caffeine or stimulants?

No. This formula is stim-free and contains no caffeine. That makes it easy to use any time of day, including evening training, travel, or stacked with a separate pre-workout if you want hydration support without doubling up on stimulants.

What does the 1,000mg taurine do in this formula?

Taurine acts as an osmolyte, which means it helps regulate cellular hydration and fluid balance inside tissues. At 1 gram, it gives this formula a more performance-oriented edge than a basic electrolyte mix and is supported by human research showing benefits for endurance exercise performance.

Is 100mg magnesium enough to help with cramping?

It is a useful supportive dose within a hydration formula, especially because it is provided as magnesium glycinate rather than a cheaper low-quality form. It is not a full standalone magnesium protocol, but combined with sodium, potassium, and calcium it contributes meaningfully to neuromuscular function and cramp resistance in people whose issues are tied to sweat and electrolyte loss.

When should I take ONE of ONE Hydration?

Most users do best taking it 20-30 minutes before training or sipping it during longer sessions. It also works well after heavy sweating, during travel, after sauna use, or any time you feel the signs of electrolyte depletion rather than just thirst.

Can I stack this with pre-workout or creatine?

Yes. In fact, that is one of the best use cases for this formula. Because it is stim-free and focused on hydration, it stacks cleanly with caffeine-based pre-workouts and with creatine, which can work even better when overall hydration habits are consistent.

Is this just for athletes?

No. Athletes will appreciate the formula, but it is also useful for frequent travelers, people who work outdoors, sauna users, and anyone who regularly feels depleted despite drinking water. The formula solves an electrolyte problem, not just a gym problem.

Does this use a proprietary blend?

No. The label is fully disclosed: 152mg calcium, 100mg magnesium, 500mg sodium, 305mg potassium, and 1,000mg taurine per serving. That transparency makes it much easier to evaluate than hydration products that hide behind vague electrolyte matrices.

Why are citrate and glycinate forms used here?

Those are generally more thoughtful mineral forms than bargain-bin options like magnesium oxide. Magnesium glycinate is widely used for better tolerance, while citrate forms for calcium and potassium fit well in hydration formulas for practical absorption and usability.

Can I use this every day?

Yes, especially if you train regularly, sweat heavily, travel often, or know your diet is light on electrolytes. There is no stimulant tolerance issue and no cycling requirement, so daily use is a practical way to keep hydration support consistent.

A Broad Overview, But Light on Modern Fine-Tuning
Format: Paperback
I'm currently really interested in fine-tuning LLMs and recently completed my first LoRA-based fine-tuning on a quantized model. I came to this book looking for more detail on fine-tuning. While it touches on the topic, I found the content didn’t quite align with the current state of the field in 2025. Techniques like LoRA, QLoRA, and PEFT weren’t really covered, and the material leaned more toward what I think are older or lower level approaches. That made it harder to connect with what I’m actually working on. That said, when I shifted to other chapters — like the sections on prompt engineering techniques such as Chain of Thought (CoT) and Tree of Thought (ToT) — I found more value. These sections were clearer, and I picked up a few practical insights, like using few-shot examples that walk through the CoT reasoning process. That’s not something I’ve tried before, and I can see how it might help smaller models that struggle with any type of reasoning tasks. Overall, the book feels more like a broad overview of all LLM concepts. For someone exploring many topics across the LLM ecosystem, it offers a wide-ranging introduction. But for readers like me who are actively trying to learn and apply techniques like fine-tuning and quantization, it may leave you wanting up-to-date guidance.

Loved it
Format: Paperback
I’ve easily read dozens of tech books. I liked this one a lot. Sure, there were boring parts, but most of it was engaging, especially on dry subjects. I previously read “How AI Works” and found this more informative and way more enjoyable. I got through the 700 pages in about 5 weeks while also learning about probability and linear algebra from other books and online sources. I’d love to read something more advanced by the author, maybe getting into more modern applications. I feel more comfortable with the subject and feel I am now ready to conquer more advanced texts. I initially picked this up to give me some background before reading “How to Build a LLM (from scratch)”. I’ve ordered an intermediary Deep Learning with Python book as well, but wouldn’t mind a more advanced theory book to accompany these books. I’ll definitely be rereading sections of this book to further familiarize myself with topics like backpropagation. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a gentle, but broad introduction to the topic.

A Good Place to Start Learning AI
Format: Paperback
Diving into the world of artificial intelligence can feel like stepping into a vast, uncharted ocean, and if you're looking for a reliable vessel to navigate these waters, this book is an excellent choice. However, I must be candid—this journey is not for the faint-hearted or those hoping to breeze through. The subject of AI, with its complex algorithms and intricate theories, is notoriously challenging. You won't find yourself flipping pages at a rapid pace, as this is not a title designed for speed-reading. Instead, it demands your full attention and a willingness to engage deeply with the material. At the heart of AI lies mathematics—a fundamental pillar that underpins the entire discipline. This book, while comprehensive, offers only a glimpse into the mathematical framework that drives artificial intelligence. But don’t be disheartened by this. Think of it as a solid foundation, a primer that will arm you with the essential concepts needed before you delve deeper into the more advanced mathematical intricacies elsewhere. When you do eventually tackle those more complex equations, you'll find yourself better equipped, with a clearer understanding of the principles at play. I should also mention that I'm no stranger to Andrew's work. Having explored some of his other writings, I can confidently say that he possesses a unique flair for communication. His ability to distill complex ideas into accessible language, without losing the essence of the subject, is truly commendable. Andrew writes with a certain finesse and sophistication that makes even the most daunting topics seem approachable. His style is not just informative, but also engaging, with a touch of elegance that sets his work apart from others in the field. In summary, while the path to mastering AI is undeniably steep, this book serves as an invaluable guide. It’s not just a starting point; it’s a beacon for those who are serious about understanding the intricacies of artificial intelligence. Be prepared to invest time and effort, and in return, you'll gain a solid foothold in a subject that is as fascinating as it is complex.

An enjoyable, and seriously excellent, path to understanding Deep Learning...
Format: Paperback
Deep Learning is changing our world. If you want to understand more, this is a great place to start. Andrew Glassner is a talented explainer - I took his short course on Deep Learning and learned so much, but also came away impressed at how well he can make complex material so clear and engaging. And this book is jammed packed with insights, visuals, and clear explanations. The author has a playful, sometimes quirky style that shines through, which gives this tour a lot of personality as well as information. Very enjoyable reading - I felt like he captured all that was good about his course (and then some) and bottled it up in this book. There is a lot more material here than in that course, and it is well laid-out and organized so that it is easy to roam around and come back to review the pieces that matter to you. Even if you plan to go to on to be a world-class Deep Learning engineer or mathematician, you have to start by understanding the concepts. And this book does a great job of presenting all the core ideas in a way that makes them clear and memorable.
