Rhipsalis are a genus of epiphytic cacti. Epiphytic cacti are jungle cacti that use another plant, typically a tree, for support. You'll find these naturally growing in the crooks of tree branches where leaf litter and moss has built up, using their roots to attach to the trees bark. Rhipsalis pilocarpa is native to South America, specifically the Brazilian Rain Forests.

CARE TIPS:

🌞 Bright indirect light is ideal, although these are tolerant of medium indirect light

💧 Only let these dry out about 15-20% between waterings. Avoid fully drying out. These are jungle cacti so they like quite a bit more moisture than desert cacti

💨 These prefer higher humidity but acclimate perfectly fine to average household humidity. I reccomend running a humidifier during winter, especially the cold months. When these mature, if given consisten humidity, they will reward you with pretty flowers

💊 Regularly fertilize this plant, especially if it is putting out a lot of new growth or flowering. Fertilizer year round as these are tropical plants and do not have a winter dormancy

T. Cross did it again!
Format: Kindle
She always conducted tv interviews and delivered her commentary in ways that uplifted and challenged. She writes in a way that captures the imagination and expresses solidarity with her people. She is undeniably human and relatable, and yet just as undeniably a unique and crucially needed voice. May T. Cross’ words long continue to grace us.

Great atlas for travel in British Columbia
Format: Spiral-bound
My spouse and I used this atlas during our recent travel within British Columbia. It is very useful with its broad details of data and the quality of the maps. There are two different scales of maps, depending on the purpose of the map - "Recreation" or "Landscape". The best scale is 1:300,000 on the landscape maps, which is certainly better than most road maps, especially when you consider the road network included in these landscape maps and the large size of the province. I recommend this atlas.

Get the most out of your travels
Format: Spiral-bound
This, like others in the same series, was a very helpful resource for a recent trip. I’ve never regretted buying these maps. Love the details and we have found many “roads less travelled” to explore with them.
