Denmark, 1965.This 'Strips' table lamp was designed by Preben Jacobsen & Flemming Brylle for Quality System in Denmark in the late 1960s early 1970s. It has a transparent acrylic base supporting a shade made of white PVC rings (strips). Each ring overlaps the next, creating a very special effect, and when lit, the white leaves create a soft, warm ambience. This 'Strips' table lamp was designed by Preben Jacobsen & Flemming Brylle for Quality System in Denmark in the late 1960s-early 1970s. It has a transparent acrylic base supporting a shade made of white PVC rings (strips). Each ring overlaps the next, creating a very special effect, and when lit, the white leaves create a soft, warm ambience. Space age style, it is in exceptional condition with some normal marks due to age and storage. The plug and two of the discs where the PVC strips are mounted are a little yellowed, and the lamp holder or socket has some paint chips.

This lamp was found in a lamp shop liquidation and appears to have never been assembled. That's why we left the lamp in its original condition. The buyer of this lamp will then set it up for the first time. Original packaging with signs of storage and some minor damage such as tears or stains (see picture).
