The Roland JV-880, introduced in 1992, is a 1U rackmount synthesiser module that marked the beginning of Roland’s iconic JV series. It provides 28-voice polyphony, 8-part multi-timbrality, and 4 MB of onboard PCM wave memory with 512 preset tones and 128 user patches. Sounds can be built from up to four “tones” per patch, offering flexibility in layering and synthesis. The JV-880 includes a resonant digital filter, envelope generators, LFOs, chorus and reverb effects. Known for its warm pads, strings, and bread-and-butter sounds, it became a staple in both studio and live setups throughout the 1990s.

• This unit has been used.

• This unit has been thoroughly tested and everything is working as it should.

• This unit shows some signs of use and age, this is mainly some marks, nicks and scratches. Overall it is still a nice rack! Please see all photos.

• This unit has had a new memory battery installed.
