The microscopes are equipped with a cross table, a 4-way objective revolver with DIN achromatic objectives, a focussing Abbe condenser and the coaxial drive knobs are arranged as per common practice. The low-temperature lighting provides for uniform illumination of the object and avoids the problem of heat affecting the slide when viewed for extended periods.
