Every model in the series has been finely tuned to find the perfect action, balanced to meet the needs of veteran anglers and beginners alike. The blanks are light, highly sensitive, and constructed with dura-resins for above-average strength and durability, with dialed-in actions and fine tips that protect light tippet.
The components match the performance. The LRS carries an eye-catching deep blue finish, a nickel-finished stainless stripping guide, hard chrome snake guides, a quality cork grip with fiber-cork edges for durability, and a carbon fiber reel seat with an anodized uplocking design that keeps weight down. Each rod is a 4-piece design, packaged in a Cordura tube with integrated pockets for protected travel, and like all Douglas fly rods it is backed by a lifetime warranty.
