How the jewelry is crafted:

Pure gold leaves (24 karats) and silver leaves are fused in between glass forms in a vacuum process, with the same manufacturing technique used on the Matrimandir’s golden tiles. After the fusing, every piece is ground and heated again over  a mold to create its final shape. As they are in an vaccum our silver pieces will never tarnish.

How to care for your Gold-in-Glass Jewelry:

Under normal circumstances, the jewelry is solid and the gold is preserved in glass forever in perfect condition. Please avoid dropping them on a hard surface. Most of our fittings are made from hypoallergenic (nickel-free) alloys and are suitable for people with a sensitivity to nickel. They have real gold or silver plating, which is not permanent in the tropical climate.
To clean the fittings, use a brass or silver polish.
