This tightly knotted, hand-made rug is woven in Central Sought of Anatolia by Tribal Weavers up to 60 years ago. Finely woven and intricately patterned, this rug is more influenced by the fine Oriental weavings intended for Commercial Trade to discerning European buyers than the more rudimentary utilitarian Village weavings made primarily for domestic use.
