Origin:
Native to the Western Indian Ocean, particularly around Madagascar, Mauritius, and the Seychelles, where it inhabits coral-rich reef slopes.

Feeding:
Primarily herbivorous, grazing constantly on algae. In captivity, provide a diet of nori, spirulina, and high-quality algae-based foods, along with occasional mysis or enriched brine shrimp for variety.

Tank Mates:
