The “X” antennas set is a cross-polarized antennas kit meant to be used with DJI fpv goggles and airunit. This cross-polarized arrangement offer a more reliable  link, maximize bit rate and minimize latency in cluttered environments, like indoor or between buildings. It consist of two RHCP and two LHCP stand-alone X-AIR for the goggles and one of each RHCP and LHCP OCP antennas for the airunit.

Installation

Place the X-AIRs on the goggles following a X pattern:

• Bottom left: LHCP
• Top left: RHCP
• Top right: LHCP
• Bottom right: RHCP

• Polarization: RHCP and LHCP
• Beam-width* (X-AIR): 120deg
• Beam-width @-3dB** (X-AIR): 68deg.

*Coverage where reception is at least equivalent to an omni.
**Coverage where at least 70% of the max range is obtained.

Can I use something other than the OCP with MMCX90 connector on the airunit?

-“Yes, if you have pigtails you can use antennas with SMA. Leave a comment while ordering and we can swap for the connector type you need.”

Can I use this with the vista unit?

-“Yes, however the performances wouldn’t be as good as they could be with an airunit.”
