Illiterati is a cooperative survival word game where you and your fellow Librarians join forces to combat illiteracy. You’ll spell words and bind books while fending off attacks from the Illiterati.
The game unfolds in real time across three phases:
- Word Building Phase: Draw letters and spell words.
- Book Binding Phase: Burn unused letters and turn in completed books.
- Illiterati Attack Phase: Draw an Illiterati Villain card and deal with its effects.
To win, each player must first bind their own books and then collaborate to complete one epic book called the Final Chapter. The game ends in defeat if too many letters are burned or the Illiterati Villain Deck is emptied.
