Keramische tegels staan bekend om hun hoogwaardige eigenschappen. Ze zijn kleurvast, slijtvast en krasbestendig, waardoor het oppervlak langdurig zijn uitstraling behoudt. Daarnaast zijn ze onderhoudsarm, wat ze tot een praktische én stijlvolle keuze maakt. De SolidSquare tegels worden gerectificeerd geproduceerd, waardoor ze maatvast zijn en strak zonder afstandhouders gelegd kunnen worden.

Met een dikte van 2 cm bieden deze keramische tegels een uitstekende stabiliteit voor terras- en daktoepassingen. Ze zijn geschikt voor verwerking op een stabiele ondergrond, zoals een zandbed voor terrassen, en kunnen op dakterrassen eenvoudig op tegeldragers worden geplaatst. Facet

Sierbestrating kan wel of geen facet bevatten. Wanneer een tegel voorzien is van een facetrand, dan heeft de tegel een kleine ronding aan de randen. Hierdoor zijn ze minder gevoelig voor beschadigingen en hebben ze minder last van een onregelmatig oppervlak. Tegels met facet kunnen strak naast elkaar gelegd worden in tegenstelling tot tegels zonder facet. Wij van Brok Bouwmaterialen bevelen tegels met facet aan.

Behandeling

De bestrating kan verschillende behandelingen ondergaan. Dit wordt gedaan om de stenen/tegels langer mooi te houden of bijvoorbeeld waterafstotend te maken. Er zijn drie verschillende behandelingen, namelijk: een toplaag (hydrofoob), een coating en een behandeling met impregneermiddel. Welke steen/tegel je zou kunnen kiezen, hangt af van waar je de bestrating voor wil gebruiken. Vraag ons vooral om hulp!

Overall sound thesis worthy of thoughtful consideration

Choudary’s book has the tag line, “Who wins when AI restacks the knowledge economy.” While the book is annoying in sections, vague in others, and prone to jargon in yet more locations, the basic thesis is sound and compelling. It’s worth considering. Choudary’s main argument is that the winners after AI technology is widely adopted will be those who take a systems view of their business rather than simply upgrading individual elements within it. He backs this with several examples based on past technological disruptions and hypothetical case studies. He argues that the best advantages from AI will come from improved communication and managing risk. He supports these arguments reasonably well within the chapters. He also includes 10 Takeaways at the end of each chapter, which is extremely helpful for recapping and making sure the reader understood the thesis. What gets annoying is Choudary goes back to the same case studies again and again and again. I reached the point of saying, “the horse is dead. Please stop flogging it.” Next, some of his arguments about things like “managing risk” are vague—there’s not enough about specific risks to be useful, which leaves AI as a magic wand to wave. Finally, as with many business writers, Choudary occasionally (but not overwhelmingly) drops into jargon like “technological solutionism.” Overall, I recommend the book. It’s made me think, even as I struggle to apply the principles to my own business.
