In deze voordeel set van vier paar heb je altijd een schoon, droog paar klaar liggen, ideaal voor wintersport, meerdaagse zeiltochten, weekenden aan boord of lange dagen in (zee)laarzen. De basis is premium Merino wol, dat warmte vasthoudt en vocht snel afvoert, zodat je voeten minder klam worden en je minder snel afkoelt. De pasvorm sluit strak om voet en onderbeen, waardoor de sok niet afzakt of draait in skischoenen, zeillaarzen, neopreen laarzen of hoge winterboots. Merino wol is bovendien van nature geur remmend, wat juist bij meerdaags gebruik in koude, vochtige omstandigheden een groot pluspunt is.

In het ontwerp is volop rekening gehouden met de drukpunten die je voelt tijdens skiën en zeilen. Tenen en hiel zijn extra verstevigd voor stabiliteit en slijtvastheid, zelfs bij intensief gebruik in strakke schoenen en laarzen. Het scheenbeen heeft extra padding om de druk van de tong van je skischoen of zeillaars op te vangen, prettig bij lange afdalingen, stevige wind en veel hangen in de trapeze. Onder de voet zorgt een dikker, zacht voetbed voor extra demping en warmte, terwijl platte naden irritatie bij tenen en wreef helpen voorkomen. De comfortabele boord knelt niet, houdt de sok netjes op zijn plek en ondersteunt een goede doorbloeding, zodat je voeten langer fit blijven. Met deze 4-pack heb je één complete set hoogwaardige wintersokken voor ski, zeilen, paardrijden en gebruik in hoge laarzen op echt gure dagen.

For $14 for 8.7 square feet, this was more than enough to cover the important parts of the trunk of my 944. You DON'T need a roller to apply this, just strong hands and a well prepped surface. I vacuumed, lightly washed, then used 90% alcohol to clean the surface before applying. I could have used more and covered every inch, but there is diminishing returns in doing so (especially on a budget, or with a lower wattage sound system in my opinion). If this stuck as well as it did for me in a 45° garage, then it should stick just fine for you too. I will say, it is a little cheap feeling, but for the price I can't complain. There is an audible difference when knocking on the panels this material is applied to. I'm not a professional though, and if you're an audiophile, there are better options (but prepare to empty your wallet). Not sure I would do an entire vehicle with this material, but it is a great supplement.
