Powell Peralta is opgericht in 1978 in Santa Barbara, Californië door Stacy Peralta en George Powell — het merk dat met het Bones Brigade team de moderne skate industrie heeft gevormd. De Dragon Formula wielen zijn hun meest geavanceerde technologische doorbraak: een mid-harde 93A compound die tien jaar in ontwikkeling was en de grens tussen zachte en harde wielen sloopt. De wielen

De Dragon Formula 93A wielen rijden over ruw terrein, grijpen en sliden zoals 99A en 101A wielen dat doen — zodat je al je normale tricks kunt doen op een groter bereik aan skateterreinen. De hogere rebound van 18 tot 20% boven harde wielen betekent dat je geen snelheid verliest in bowls of parks, en veel soepeler en sneller rijdt op ruw straat- en trottoir. De Green Dragon Formula 93A wielen zijn verkrijgbaar in twee shapes:

V4 (54mm x 34mm) — Medium profile, 17mm ride patch. Veelzijdig allround shape voor street en park. De meest gangbare maat in de Dragon Formula lijn.

V6 (56mm x 36mm) — Wide profile, 20.5mm medium ride patch. Breed loopvlak met licht afgeronde rand voor stabiliteit en controle op elk terrein. Iets groter en breder voor transition, bowl en hogere rijsnelheid.
